Hebrews

Heb. 1:3  “Sat down on the right hand of the Majexty on high.”
(The Trinity?  where does the Holy Spirit sit?)

Heb.  1:8  “But unto the Son he saith,  Thy throne, O God, is for

ever  and ever:  a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of
thy
kingdom.”
(God called Jesus, “O God”?)

Heb. 6:2 “of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of
hands,
and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.”
(Paul’s synopsis of Christianity)

Heb.  7:1 “For this Melchiz’edek,  king of Salem,  priest of  the
most  high God,  who met Abraham returning from the
slaughter  of
the kings, and blessed him;”
(Jahwah had other followers before Abraham)
(Salem is Jerusalem)

Heb.  7:14  “For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of
Judah;
of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.”
(Wasn’t Jesus of the tribe of Benjamin?)

Heb.  7:26-27  “For such a high priest became us,  who  is
holy,
harmless,  undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher
than
the  heavens;  who needeth not daily,  as those high priests,
to
offer  up sacrifice,  first for his own sins,  and then  for  the
people’s: for this he did once, when offered up himself.”
(Background of Jesus’ death)

Heb.  8:7-12 “For if that first covenant had been faultless, then

should  no  place have been sought for the second.   For
finding
fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the
Lord,
when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and
with
the  house of Judah:   not according to the covenant that I
made
with  their fathers,  in the day when I took them by the hand  to

lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued
not in
my covenant,  and I regarded them not,  saith the Lord.  For
this
is  the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel  after
those days,  waith the Lord;  I will put my laws into their mind,
and write them in their hearts:  and I will be to them a God,
and
they shall be to me a people:  and they shall not teach every
man
his neighbor,  and every man his brother,  saying, Know the
Lord:
for  all shall know me,  from the least to the greatest.   For  I
will  be merciful to their unrighteousness,  and their  sins  and
their iniquities will I remember no more.”
(The New Covenant)

Heb. 9:1-5 “Then verily the first covenant had also
ordinances of
divine  service,  and  a  worldly sanctuary.   For  there  was  a
tabernacle made;  the first, wherein was the candlestick, and
the
table,  and  the showbread;  which is called the sanctuary.
And
after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the
holiest
of all;  which had the golden censer, and the ark of the
covenant
overlaid round about with gold,  wherein was the golden pot
that
had  manna,  and Aaron’s rod that budded,  and the tables of
the
covenant;  and  over it the cherubim of glory shadowing the
mercy
seat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.”
(Where are all these things, since 70 AD?)
(And  what  happened  to  the  animal  sacrifices   God
ordered?)

Heb.  9:28  “so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of
many;
and  unto them that look for him shall he appear the second
time
without sin unto salvation.”
(Rationale for Jesus’s death)

Heb. 10:4  “For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of
goats should take away sins.”
(Oh?  Is the Old Covenant and laws wrong?)

Heb.  10:16-17   “This is the covenant that I will make with
them
after those days,  waith the Lord;  I will put my laws into their
hearts,  and in their minds will I write them; and their sins and
iniquities will I remember no more.”
(The New Covenant?)

Heb. 11:26  “(Moses) esteeming the reproach of Christ
greater riches than
the treasure in Egypt:  for he had respect unto the
recompense of
the reward.”

Heb. 13:5  “Let your conversation be without covetousness;
and be
content with such things as ye have:”
